Showing my parents around

sunny 4 °C

Last week was spring break and I had the most amazing time. My parents were visiting and I could finally show them around the place I love so much.

They arrived on Thursday night and I was there to meet them at the airport. It was amazing to see them again after 7 months. My mom was so exited to see me she almost forget to get her suitcase. The next day I still had the go to school, which was a great opportunity to show my parents around there. I have been talking to them so much about school and how much I love it and finally being able to actually show them some of it was really fun. Later that day we went out for dinner with my parents and my host family. This was kind of strange at first because it two different worlds colliding but in the end we had a lot of fun and the food was really good.
On Saturday we went out to see one of my favorite Canadian thing: Hockey!! It was such a fun experience because it was such a good and exiting game and sharing this experience with my parents was amazing. Hockey is such a Canadian thing and something I've come to love so much since arriving in Nova Scotia that I had to share it with them.

We also decided to just drive around for a day and see the beautiful nature Nova Scotia has to offer, and it was amazing. There are a lot of part of the province that I hadn't seen before. We drove around and sometimes stoped to see beautiful skies, fields, waters and a lot of deer. I was really beautiful and the drive we made, made me really appreciate the beautiful nature around here.
During this trip I off course let my parents try some typically Canadian things. My really loved Tim Hortons drinks and almost tried them all. My dad had lobster for the first time and liked it two. Showing them around like I was the expert here was an amazing experience. Only seven months ago I. was the one trying all these thing for the first time and this little break made me really appreciate all the amazing experiences I already had the experiences that are still gonna come in the next few months.

So my march break was pretty was pretty awesome but made me also realize I only have 3 months left in this amazing place. Only three more months of this beautiful country and my beautiful family before I have to leave again. Before you leave everyone tells you how fast the time will go, but I refused to believe them, after all it is 10 whole months. But now I have realized that the time flew by and we are getting closer and closer to the end. Although this make me a little bit sad, I am also super exited for the thing still to come, like prom and graduation. I ready for 3 more months full of adventures. -JP
